Well, everything has to have a starting point, and here's this blog's.
I plan to post about my fantasy baseball season, with these specifics in mind:
- My decision making process with regard to roster changes, start/sit decisions, specific players, and other decisions as they present themselves.
- How my teams actually do (for better, for worse, and for something in between)
- Things I learn along the way, relating to improving at fantasy baseball
- General information relating to fantasy baseball
I generally hope to post about 3-4 times a week before the season, and hopefully 1-2 times per day (shorter posts) during the baseball season. This could be interesting.
The past two seasons, I have tried to do a notebook with observations and notes such that would help me in future seasons. Currently, both of these notebooks have 3 pages of notes on them, and almost all of them relate to draft preparation.
About myself:
- This will be my eighth season playing fantasy baseball.
- I tend to play exclusively on Yahoo Fantasy Baseball, as this has been where I started and am most comfortable with.
- I play fantasy football in addition to baseball, but baseball is the one I am most passionate about.
- I don't consider myself to be a particular expert on fantasy baseball. Like many things, I try to learn as much as I can about it, and how to succeed at it.
- Sadly, I have never won a fantasy baseball championship in any of my main leagues.
A future post will follow on my teams and formats.
